3) Risk Analysis and Success Plan

Risk Severity 1=low5=severe Mitigation
Skilled staff leave 5 Make sure other staff are involved and apprised of development in this area. Insist on full documentation as project progress
Underestimated the amount of effort required to fulfil the work promised 3 Reduce the amount of actual Linked Data created, but at least do a collection. and concentrate on up skilling and scoping study
Lack of local expertise to define vocabularies 4 Make sure we are engaged with external effortsMake sure up skilling is top priority. Look to draw on developers with experience from the Publishing Statistical Data working group.
Ambivalence or disinterest from data providers, SDMX sponsors and/or data community 1 Engage with all stakeholder groups at earliest opportunity and sell benefits of Linked Data
Proposed SDMX-RDF model proves unsuitable/unworkable with WDI data 2 Modifications to the model may be required, these would be feedback to the SDMX sponsors for their inclusion in future versions of the model
